“I hardly recognized you…”

I’m not going to lie, that sentence has been one of the most refreshing things I have heard over the last few months. I don’t necessarily mean that in a physical way (losing 49lbs. since Aug 25) but even my personality has changed some over the years. I have been told by a few of my friends that I have completely changed since they first met me and I am very happy about that. Being a depressed, “sheltered” then unsheltered, immature, irresponsible, manipulative asshole wasn’t going to get me far in life and growing up was something that I had to do. Now that I am on the verge of graduating and going out into the real world, I am glad that change has happened.
